House System

Our House System for pupils is an aspirational system that reflects our belief that every pupil can succeed. We expect our pupils to go on to be doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientists, researchers, teachers and so on. Our boys can be future politicians and world-wide campaigners should they choose to work in those areas.

ATTITUDE DETERMINES ALTITUDE – with the right attitude and hard work, they will succeed.

The Houses centre on the university system. Our country is made up of very traditional universities as well as new, innovative universities. There are four Houses:

• King's College University House
• Imperial College University House
• Oxford University House
• Cambridge University House

Where possible, pupils visit universities and colleges during the year as part of our Careers Programme.
