WBA take part in Primary Maths Challenge
This year in November 2017, 20 of our pupils took part in the national Primary Maths Challenge. This challenge is taken by thousands of children each year.
The Primary Maths Challenge is a nationwide challenge for pupils with a passion for mathematics and who want to get involved in some interesting and stimulating mathematics.
The challenge has 25 questions; twenty of these are multiple choice questions. The final 5 require an answer where no choices are given.
We are extremely proud of our boys that took part in this event. They all did well with Irtaza Hussain achieving the highest marks and Toba Esan the second highest marks. Both boys have received a Gold certificate. Congratulations!
The pupils’ scores have been submitted to the Primary Maths Challenge team and we will be sent an e-mail on 14th December in the case that they pick one of our pupils for the second round, which is called Bonus round. Fingers crossed everyone!
