Solomon the Elephant - Conservation project

Our pupils undertook a special extra-curricular project on animal conservation this term.

This was based on Solomon the Elephant, our school's elephant statue that was donated to Winterbourne as part of an environmental project. 

Our pupils gained incredible insight into conservation work and the ecosystem. The project began with independent research along with an educational trip, group discussions, blogging, poster designs and report writing. 

It proved to be a wonderful journey.
