Science Academy and Maths Academy launch

Winterbourne Boys' Academy officially launched its new Science Academy and Maths Academy yesterday with pupils and parents.  

We were very pleased to meet so many parents/carers at the launch, who were all extremely keen to learn about the new, exciting opportunities that will be on offer to our most able and young mathematicians and scientists.

The new academies will broaden the horizon of our able pupils with a highly stimulating and academic programme.  The programme will offer, for example:

• Expert-led research projects.
• Seminars and lectures from experts.
• Extra-curricular workshops and additional exposure to career options.
• Additional trips to inspiring academic institutions.
• Increased links with Russell Group universities.
