Our whole school assembly today focused on one aspect of British Values as part of a programme on the important topic.
Mr Jones presented on the value of tolerance. Pupils were reminded about the importance of showing tolerance to those of different faiths, cultures and beliefs.
Mr Jones said tolerance is a skill and the willingness to accept and respect other people's opinions and beliefs. The school explored how everyone could practice tolerance in their everyday school life from the classroom to the playground.
The assembly took the opportunity to reflect on and appreciate how lucky we are to live in Britain, a country with such strong values where every citizen can exercise democracy and where tolerance and respect towards others is upheld.
